Name of gambling card game.?
When I was younger, I was taught a card game and was told the name of the game was " Philadelphia." The gist of the game was each player got three cards, and a kitty was dealt three cards also. After the ante, everyone got the choice to be in or get out. 2's and 3's were wild, and the only possible hands were 3 of a kind, a pair, or high card. No straits or flushes. If you chose to stay in and won, you drug the pot, and if you lost, you paid the pot. If 3 or more people stayed in, the pot multiplied by the number of people who stayed in minus 1. If only one person stayed in, he or she played the kitty, and if they won, drug the pot and the game was over. If they lost, they paid the pot. The only way to end the game was someone beating the kitty. I've been gambling for 20 years, and I have never in my life met anyone who has played or heard of anything even remotely similar to this. If you've played it, let me know your variations, other name, and if you have ever seen anything about it online.
